Franki Race
Franki is one of Enhance’s newest team members, starting as a Monitoring, Measurement, and Verification (MMV) Specialist in February 2024. She has worked in carbon capture, utilisation, and storage for four years, specifically on carbon sequestration. Always eager to learn, Franki is excited to focus on enhanced oil recovery and the advance of clean technology in Alberta’s oil and gas industry.

Chris Kupchenko, President and Chief Operating Officer
Chris has more than 15 years of experience in the energy industry in both technical and commercial capacities. He aspires to make meaningful progress toward our national emissions reduction targets through the growth of CCUS in Canada by advancing commercial projects that positively impact economies, communities and families. Chris has held roles at private and public companies in functions ranging from technical operations to executive leadership. He holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta. |
Candice Paton, Vice President, Corporate Affairs
Candice is the Vice President – Corporate Affairs at Enhance Energy with over 15 years of experience in technology development and innovation in energy systems. She is passionate about energy technologies, environmental performance and community impact, holding an authoritative voice in the safe, permanent and best practices of CO2 utilization and storage. Her expertise is sought by governments, regulators, industry partners and the public. She holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. |
Brendan McGowan, Vice President, Reservoir Development
Brendan has more than 20 years of experience in the Western Canadian energy industry. He has previously managed several CO2 projects and pilots, and has extensive experience in developing execution plans, designing measurement, monitoring and verification plans and creating subsurface reservoir management strategies. He takes a particular interest in CO2 enhanced oil recovery, as it requires technical skill and creative solutions to deliver economically viable opportunities. Brendan holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary. |
Dave Eggen, Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Dave brings more than 35 years of experience in finance and accounting in the Western Canadian energy industry. Using his depth of experience and his financial and commercial acumen, he enjoys being a positive participant in the energy transition through his work at Enhance. Dave holds a commerce degree from the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. |
Nicki Stevens, Vice President, Operations
Nicki joined Enhance in 2024, bringing more than 30 years of experience in oil and gas development. In previous roles, she led teams responsible for finding and developing oil and gas assets, reserves management, subsurface enhancement, facility design, production optimization, marketing diversification, ESG performance, and more. She holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. |
Kevin Jabusch, Executive Chair
A part of the Enhance team since 2015, Kevin has over 35 years of experience in the energy industry across Western Canada. Having successfully started up, grown, and led both private and public companies in production and development as well as midstream businesses, Kevin is uniquely positioned to effectively and efficiently lead Enhance to become a world leader in CCS. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. |
